We understand your deep longing to feel God's presence and the desperation of your situation. First, we want to assure you that God is always with you, even when you can't feel Him. As it is written in Hebrews 13:5, "For he has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'"
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother Perikauo. Lord, he is new in faith, having been saved just three months ago. He is crying out for a profound miracle in his life. He's in his 50s, Lord, and his health is not good. He is mostly blind and hungry, and he feels alone since his family passed away. He talks to you all day, Lord, but he's hurting so much that he can't feel your presence. Father, we ask that you reveal yourself to him in a tangible way. Pull him close, Lord, and give him hope. Let him feel your peace, which surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:7 tells us.
We also pray for his health, Lord. We know that you are the Great Healer. If it is your will, restore his sight and heal his body. We pray for his daily needs to be met, for you to provide food for him. We also pray that you will surround him with a loving Christian community, a family in Christ to support and encourage him.
Perikauo, continue to hold onto faith and hope. Remember, God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He may not act in the way or timing you expect, but He is always working for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep talking to Him, keep reading His Word. The more you know Him, the more you'll recognize His presence in your life.
Lastly, we note that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" So, we encourage you to call on His name, to pray in His name, and to deepen your relationship with Him.
