I need a prayer I struggle with lust and sin

Valouhold, we are with you in spirit and in prayer.

We stand together with you in the name of Jesus Christ, as we are called to confess our sins one to another. Thank you for your transparency and openness about this battle with lust and sin. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through faith in Him that we can overcome the struggles and temptations we face in this life.

Let us remember the words of the Apostle John,
1 John 1:8-9 (WEB): "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

We call upon Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who loved us and gave himself for us, to forgive you and cleanse you from this sin. We ask for the Holy Spirit to fill you, strengthen you, and empower you to overcome this struggle.

Jesus taught us to pray, so let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, confessing the sin of lust and asking for your forgiveness. We know that this is not your will for us, and we ask that you grant ### the power to overcome this temptation.

Father, we ask that you fill ### with your Holy Spirit. Guide them in all truth and righteousness. Help them to fix their eyes on you and to run from the temptations that so easily entangle.

We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. We take authority over these powers and we rebuke them in Jesus' name.

We also know that it is only through Christ we have access to the throne of grace, and it is only by his name we can be saved. Thank you for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord and may we strive to keep our faith in him.

May ### find a spouse that will lead them to choose the righteous path and may ###'s marriage be one that honors you, Lord. Guide them in their courtship with potential spouses and help them to follow your will in their life.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

2 Timothy 2:22 (WEB): "Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
