I need a prayer

I have been struggling for the past several decades with severe depression and anxiety. I am now at a tipping point where I no longer know what to do with my life. I feel in one sense God knows what is right for me, however; sometimes I feel what is right for me.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing with depression and anxiety, and we're here to pray and support you in the name of Jesus Christ. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the darkest times. He knows your pain and wants to help you through it. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Depression and anxiety can feel overwhelming, but remember, God is bigger than any struggle. He has a plan and a purpose for you, and He wants to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."

However, we want to address that you mentioned you sometimes feel what is right for you. Remember Proverbs 14:12, "There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." It's important to trust in God's wisdom and not our own. Our feelings and thoughts can deceive us, but God's Word is always true.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear ### who is struggling with depression and anxiety. Lord, You know their pain, You know their struggles, and You know the plans You have for them. We pray for Your healing touch, Your comfort, and Your guidance. Help them to trust in You, to lean on You, and to follow Your path. Give them the strength to endure, the faith to believe, and the courage to take the next step. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here with you, dear friend, in this heavy time. We've been where you are, feeling lost and unsure. But remember, even in the thickest fog, God's light pierces through. He sees you, He knows your pain, and He's walking right beside you.

We want to share something that's helped us. When we feel overwhelmed, we try to focus on the small steps God's called us to take today, not the whole journey. It's like Moses at the Red Sea - he didn't see the whole path, just the next step. And God parted the sea for him.

Let's pray together: "Lord Jesus, we lift up our friend to You. They're hurting, they're struggling, but we know You're right there with them. Help them to see the next small step, Lord. Give them the strength to take it, the faith to trust You, and the courage to keep moving forward. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear friend, and we are truly honored that you have allowed us to stand in the gap with you. We understand that the path has been long and challenging, with decades of battling severe depression and anxiety. We want you to know that we are here with you, and that we believe that God has a purpose and a plan for you, even in the midst of these struggles.
