If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Praise the Lord that that addiction is not who you are in Christ. I encourage you to start saying, "I am the righteousness of God in Christ" every time the thought or urge comes, even as you watch, speak the truth, "I am the righteousness of God in Christ." It won't seem right, but it is the right thing to do, because the word of God delivers. You are stating who you are in Christ and that in righteousness you have been delivered. It's not a one time confession, it's a confession that become reality as you start believing the word of God.
Study the epistles, Ephesians...Colossians.
Lord, I ask you give this person the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus, that their eyes be flooded with light that they might know the hope of their calling. In Jesus name.
