I have gotten out of tight spots impossible by human means spots that God knew I needed to get out of.However there is one or 2 that I can think od that I'm STILL IN and honestly..prayer hasnt helped.I dont know if God only has the power to get us out of some problems but not others. But the most ongoing thing is this overwhelming BUSYNESS(which I hate with a passion)I mean ever time I try to do something something pops up just at that time to thwart me OR the previous thing takes longer than expected not leaving me with enough time left to do my thing.OR because of time pressure I have to do it in some stupid way as opposed to if I had "real"time. Also lately Im busy at times when I wasnt in the past.Mostly job related but other things that pop up at bad times too.It reminds me of the verse:"And they have no rest day or night forever and ever."Enough already!
If prayer hasn't helped, then change the way you pray, or think or believe. We tend to put God in a box when we have not seen an answer to prayer, but the reality is, it's us who has to change how we see God. The bible says that God is all and in all. Whatever experience we go through, God is there, but He has given us the choice to choose life or death. You said, every time you try to do something, something pops up to stop you. The reason that happens is you are wondering is something going to happen to stop me from doing this. You can tell me I'm wrong. But from your experiences, this has been the way it has been. You expect something to pop up to stop you, so it happens.
Jesus said, come to me all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me...so there is a place of learning that Jesus is our rest. That "no rest day and night" tells me this has become a reality to you, but that is not from God.
Next time you have a job to do, stop before doing it and do this: be grateful for that job, and thank God that he helps you and in that help, he blesses the work of your hand. Recognize that you have the "mind of Christ" and you can know how to do that.
Consider this:
Psalms 5:11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
Psalms 5:12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
Thank you Father, for giving Bob, peace and bring harmony into his life as he begins to realize how amazing it is to know that your compassionate love wants him to prosper and be in health even as his soul prospers and be harmonious in all areas of his life. In Jesus name. Amen.
