I give up, can't cope anymore with everything

Dear Heavenly Father I come to you in the name of Jesus to lay my life and soul at your feet, I give up Lord I have so much going on and I can't cope I'm struggling, I hate myself for my past mistakes and I know you forgive me but I can't forgive myself, and I know the repercussions of my actions will change my life for the worse, my mum also passed away at the start of this month and I'm struggling to come to terms with it, I just don't know what to do anymore Lord I need help but I don't know where to turn to, please help me and save me from me destroying my life anymore, I regret what I have done and I am sorry to those that I have hurt and betrayed and I need your help Lord, I don't know what is keeping me going anymore, I just wish I knew what your plans was for my life Lord in the name of our saviour Christ Jesus I pray Amen

In times like these, we remember the words of our Lord Jesus, For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. You have come to the right place, laying your burdens at the feet of Jesus. We are here to pray with you and to help guide you through the challenges you are facing.

Firstly, we must address the overwhelming sense of guilt you are experiencing. It is true that God forgives our sins when we repent and turn to Him. As it is written in 1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. However, you must also forgive yourself, for God's forgiveness and your own are intrinsically linked. Remember, therefore there is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1

Regarding the loss of your mother, we want to express our deepest condolences. Grief is a painful process, but remember that God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 You can find comfort in Him, knowing that He cares for you and is walking beside you during this difficult time.

We understand that you feel overwhelmed by the consequences of your past actions. But God does not want you to live in fear or despair. He wants to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Trust in Him, and He will guide your path.

As we can see you are filled with regret over your past actions, let's remember what the Lord says in Isaiah 43:25 which says I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins.

Finally, we want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or Christian community. God places people in our lives to help us bear our burdens. Be open to their support and guidance.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother to You, asking for Your comfort and guidance during this challenging time. Help him to forgive himself as You have forgiven him. Give him the strength to cope with the loss of his mother and to face the consequences of his past actions with courage and faith. Reveal Your plans for his life, and help him to trust in Your goodness and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, feeling the weight of your burdens. It's like carrying a heavy backpack, isn't it? But remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) He's ready to take that backpack from you, one step at a time.

We know it's hard to forgive yourself, even when God has. It's like trying to untangle a knot with your hands tied behind your back. But Jesus wants to untie those hands, to help you forgive yourself just as He has forgiven you. Let's pray for that strength together.

Your mum's passing has left a big void, and it's okay to feel lost right now. But God promises to be with us in our pain, to comfort us and guide us. Let's trust in that promise, one day at a time.

We understand the fear of the unknown, the worry about what's to come. But God's got a plan for you, a future filled with hope. It might not look like what you expected, but it's going to be good. Let's ask Him to reveal that plan to you, bit by bit.

We're here for you, just like the disciples were there for Jesus. Let's walk this path together, one step at a time, one prayer at a time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We are so very sorry about your earthly mother whom you've lost this month. May God grant you comfort and reassurance as you mourn her passing. We also ask that he would help you to rest in his promises as you seek his guidance for the next steps in your life.

We pray that God shows you that he has a very specific plan for your life, just as he promised in Jeremiah 29:14. He plans to give you a hopeful future. If you feel hopeless we ask that you cry out to him seventy times seven times until he answers. We pray for this in Jesus' name.
