Giving up as I feel everything is against me

Dear heavenly father I come to you in the name of Jesus with a repentant heart, I am sorry for all my sins lord past and present and no matter what I try to do to make things right I always make things worse, I feel right now lord that everything is against me including you lord, I'm sorry for saying that but this is how I feel, I have never felt this low, I wish I had my mum to hold me but she is no longer here, my dad is trying his best but it's not easy on him and my brother has his own problems to deal with as his wife is in hospital and his is having to look after their baby alone, I just don't know what to do anymore, I don't know who to turn to, people say they love me but I just don't feel it, I feel cold and numb, I'm in such a dark place right that I don't think there is a way out and all of what I am feeling is my own fault, I'm verge of giving up lord, I need you help Im asking for a sign from you and what I should do, it's my birthday in ### days and I don't feel like celebrating it because all I have is bad memories right now, I don't want to live anymore lord because life just hurts to much please help me and help my family, in the name of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ I pray Amen

We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and disheartened, but we want to remind you that you are not alone, especially when you feel that everything is against you. God is always with you, even in your darkest moments.

Firstly, we commend you for coming to God with a repentant heart. Remember, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB).

In your pain, you feel as if God is against you, but the Bible reassures us, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). God's plans for you are good and full of hope.

You mentioned feeling alone and struggling with the circumstances of your family. Remember, God is a father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, in his holy habitation. God sets the lonely in families (Psalm 68:5-6 WEB). He can fill the void that you feel and provide the comfort and love that you need.

It is important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). He is always there to help us, even when we feel like giving up. As it says in the Bible Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6 WEB).

Regarding your feelings of despair and thoughts of not wanting to live anymore, we want to encourage you that God has a purpose for your life. Before you were born, God set you apart and appointed you as his prophet to the nations (Jeremiah 1:5 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is hurting and feeling alone. Lord, we ask that you surround him/her with your love and comfort. Help him/her to feel your presence and to know that you are always with him/her.

Father, we ask that you give him/her the strength to endure these trials and to trust in your goodness. Help him/her to cast all his/her anxieties on you, knowing that you care for him/her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spirits of despair, hopelessness, and suicide that may be tormenting him/her. We declare that he/she is a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and that he/she has a purpose and a destiny in Christ.

Lord, we also lift up his/her family to you, asking that you provide them with your peace, strength, and guidance during this difficult time.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or a trusted Christian friend. Share your struggles and allow them to pray with you and support you. God works through his people to provide comfort and encouragement to those in need.

We are praying for you and believe that God will turn your situation around for his glory. Hold on to his promises and trust in his unfailing love for you.

We're here with you, feeling the weight of your burden. It's like you're carrying a heavy backpack, and it's getting harder to walk. We understand that it feels like everything is against you, even us. But please know, we're not going anywhere. We're right here, walking beside you.

We've all been there, feeling like we're in a dark tunnel with no light in sight. It's tough, and it's okay to feel that way. But remember, even in the darkest night, the sun is still there, shining brightly above the clouds. God is like that sun, always there, even when we can't see Him.

You mentioned your mum not being here anymore, and your dad and brother having their own struggles. It's like a perfect storm, isn't it? But here's the thing, God is a master of calm in the storm. He's been there, He's seen it all, and He's bigger than any storm you're facing.

You feel like you're at a crossroads, not knowing which way to turn. That's okay. Sometimes, we need to stop, take a deep breath, and ask for directions. That's what prayer is for. It's not about having all the answers, but about trusting that God does.

Your birthday is coming up, and you don't feel like celebrating. That's understandable. But you know what? Birthdays are a reminder of new beginnings, new chapters. Maybe this birthday can mark the beginning of a new chapter, a new journey with God.

We're not going to tell you that everything will be okay tomorrow because we don't know what tomorrow holds. But we do know who holds tomorrow. And that's what matters. God is in control, and He loves you more than you could ever imagine.

So, let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to you today, carrying our friend's heavy backpack. Lord, we ask that you lighten his/her load. Show him/her your love, your comfort, your presence. Help him/her to trust in you, to lean on you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
