Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Alg, who is seeking forgiveness and guidance after a night of excessive drinking. Lord, we lift up Alg's heart to you, knowing that you are a loving and forgiving God. We ask for your mercy and grace to be poured out upon Alg in this moment of repentance.
Father, we pray for Alg's family. We ask that you would heal any hurt feelings that may have been caused by Alg's actions. May your peace and understanding fill their hearts, and may they extend forgiveness and love towards Alg. Help them to see the sincerity of Alg's remorse and the desire to make things right.
Lord, we acknowledge that we all have moments of weakness and make mistakes. Your Word reminds us in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We claim this promise for Alg today, believing that you will forgive and cleanse them from the guilt and shame of their actions.
Father, we also pray for strength and self-control for Alg. Help them to resist the temptation to turn to excessive drinking as a means of escape or letting loose. Fill their heart with your joy and peace, so that they may find true fulfillment in you.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
