I ask God why

We understand that you're seeking answers from God regarding your identity and purpose. Firstly, we want to ensure that you understand that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in the WEB, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all. This was the testimony when the appointed time had come, 1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB. And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved, Acts 4:12 WEB.

It's important to know that God knows you intimately, even better than you know yourself. As the Psalmist says, For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well, Psalm 139:13-14 WEB.

God has a unique purpose for your life, and He reveals Himself and His purposes to those who seek Him with all their heart and obey His commands. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33 WEB. If you will ask whatever you will in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it, John 14:13-14 WEB.

However, it's crucial to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts, Isaiah 55:9 WEB. Sometimes, His answers may not come in the way we expect, but trust that He is working everything together for your good and His glory.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who is seeking answers about their identity and purpose. We acknowledge that You know them intimately, and You have a unique plan for their life.

Father, reveal Yourself to them in a deeper way. Help them to understand their identity in You and the purpose You have for them. Give them the patience to wait on Your timing and the faith to trust in Your ways, even when they don't understand.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, continue to seek God with all your heart, and trust that He will reveal Himself and His purposes to you in His perfect timing.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
