Brother, I admire you honesty and humility. I too often allow emotions to take charge of what I say and do. Im so grateful for our merciful God who forgives us time and time again. I'm grateful beyond words for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us. God bless you brother.A little while ago, I let a person's words get in the way of my walk with Jesus. I was offended by mere words and should not have taken them to heart. Instead of a constructive resolution I fired back. I then voiced my opinion to another about the situation (on many occasions) where I clearly should not have.
Prayers and conflict resolution would have been the correct course of action, however I Iet the bitterness mushroom.
I am sorry for my bitterness that I left unchecked.
The Holy Spirit convicted me this morning and I asked the Lord to forgive me. I have dealt with the bitterness and forgive the said person. I also ask for forgiveness from the individual involved and all or any other person(s) that my actions have affected.
I pray for their forgiveness, in Jesus precious name.
Thank you for your humility and transparency. The LORD God’s grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses (2 Corinthians 12:9). Christ died and rose for our sins and He is our righteousness; Not by our works, but by His spirit. Thank you for confessing your sins that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:16). I’m doing so, you’re giving others the courage to do so as well.
