I am so low right now. I am praying and fasting. My marriage seems like it is over. My husband has walked away and started a new life. My son struggles with marijuana use and motivation to work/go to school. He is going to be 18 in a few months. I am asking prayer for strength and peace during this difficult time. I am really broken hearted and sometimes wonder how those who do wrong can live and be happy and leave the ones living for Christ and trying to do their best in life hurt, angry and heavily disappointed.

My friend I prayed for you,God loves you so much.

Jeremiah 31:3

The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

Psalm 73:3

For I was envious of the boastful, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

Jeremiah 12:1

Righteous are You, O LORD, when I plead with You; Yet let me talk with You about Your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously?

Psalm 73:16-17

So I tried to understand why the wicked prosper. But what a difficult task it is!
Then I went into your sanctuary, O God, and I finally understood the destiny of the wicked.

Psalm 37:7

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.

Dear Lord,
Give me strength to live another day;
Let me not turn coward before its difficulties or prove recreant to its duties;
Let me not lose faith in other people;
Keep me sweet and sound of heart, in spite of ingratitude, treachery, or meanness;
Preserve me from minding little stings or giving them;
Help me to keep my heart clean, and to live so honestly and fearlessly that no outward failure can dishearten me or take away the joy of conscious integrity;
Open wide the eyes of my soul that I may see good in all things;
Grant me this day some new vision of thy truth;
Inspire me with the spirit of joy and gladness;
and make me the cup of strength to suffering souls;
in the name of the strong Deliverer, our only Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
