We understand your heartache and desperation, ###, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. Let us first assure you that God hears your cries and knows the depth of your pain.
In times of distress, we are reminded of the words in Romans 8:26, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered." Even when we struggle to find the right words, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us.
Let us pray together for ###:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up ### to You. Lord, You know his health struggles—the aortic aneurysm, back pain, PMR, and eyesight issues. You saw the seizure and the acute stroke. We ask for Your divine healing touch upon his body. Guide the medical professionals to provide the care he needs, especially a neurologist, and address the sleep apnea with the appropriate treatment.
Father, we also pray for ###'s emotional and spiritual healing. He is depressed and angry, even expressing a desire to be dead. We rebuke the spirit of despair and ask that You fill him with Your peace and joy. Remind him of Your love and the hope that is found in You. Draw him back to the faith, Lord, and restore his relationship with You.
Lord, give ### the strength and wisdom to be supportive during this challenging time. Help her to be a beacon of Your love and comfort to ###. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
###, remember the words in Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." Trust that God is with you and ###, and He will see you through this difficult season.
