Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of concern and love for ###, who is facing a multitude of serious health issues. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18 that "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." Lord, we ask that You draw near to ### in his time of need.
Father, ### is suffering from an aortic aneurysm, back pain, and polymyalgia rheumatica. He has also experienced a seizure and an acute stroke, with signs of silent strokes. We pray for Your divine healing over his body. You are the Great Physician, and we know that nothing is impossible for You. As it says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord." We claim this promise for ###’s physical healing.
Lord, we also lift up ###’s emotional and mental state to You. He is feeling depressed, crying, and angry, and has expressed a desire to no longer live. We ask that You touch his heart and mind, bringing peace and comfort that only You can provide. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, it says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction." May ### feel Your comforting presence right now.
We pray for the medical care that ### needs. Lord, guide him to the right neurologist and medical professionals who can provide the best treatment for his conditions, including addressing his sleep apnea. Grant wisdom and discernment to those who will be involved in his care.
We also lift up the one who is supporting ###. Grant strength, patience, and unwavering faith. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." May this promise be a source of strength and encouragement.
Lord, we pray for a spiritual revival in ###’s life. Bring him back to faith, reminding him of Your love and grace. Let him feel Your presence and know that You are with him through every trial.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
