Heavenly Father, we thank you for your grace and mercy and for the blessings you have bestowed upon us. We come before you today in Jesus Name to ask for your guidance and protection for ###'s son, ###, as he seeks to join a congregation to become a priest. Give him the wisdom and discernment to make the right decisions and to follow the path you have set before him. Provide him with the strength and courage to overcome any obstacles he may face and to stay focused on his goal. We pray that you will open the right doors for him and that he will be surrounded by people who will support and encourage him. We ask all of this in Jesus Name. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
