I am feeling depressed, sad, angry, emotional as my 22 yo daughter is dealing with mental health issues e,g, depression, bordering personality disorder, suicidal ideation, and has been hospitalized over a dozen times last year. Has been "chaptered", which means she is admitted involuntarily because no beds are available in a behavioral hospital and gets taken by the police to a State facility for a 72-hour hold. I pray for her safety and am happy when I hear from her once she is admitted, but get angry with God because this occurs so often. My husband has chronic kidney disease, is on kidney dialysis 3x/wk, makes him feel awful and weak, has advanced heart failure, AFib, chronic cough, shortness of breath, and when one symptom seems to get better, he starts feeling worse from something else, e.g., earache, pilonidal cysts, back pain, pancreas issues, and is becoming depressed. Because I dont' know what to say or how to help, it appears I don't care. There are days I just ask why?

Psalms 84:11---Sister this is a wake up call. Maybe a miraculous turning point in all your lives. We're about to pray BIG God sized prayers for miracles, protection, healing and restoration! God has sent you a big message so let's pray big prayers for your daughter. Yes she is in a struggle right now but she is in a place where she can get help. We pray for a great therapist and doctor for her getting back to better health. She has God in her life that will help her get medication for her life. She will get great counseling and therapy now. God has not let this happen God is answering a prayer for healing it. Sometimes our loved ones come into this world with challenges we can't understand nor can they. They are in fear and sadness and pain in ways that make them feel different from the rest of the world. But God will deliver her from harm and self destruction. This is why we are connected with God's will to help her and heal her. She may have fears and phobias that she doesn't want or understand. This experience will be a good thing for her and you. Trust that she will be protected from harm. Trust God will give you the wisdom and patience to know that she will be helped. Pray that a really kind staff will help her get some rest and recovery. Pray big because God is big and this issue needs big results. Reach out to other parents who are in this same position as you are. Go on line and research it. Start your own support group. Get busy with your own version of self help. Start a spiritual parents support program for parents of children with mental health issues. If you don't want to then create one in your imagination. Everyone has the ability to imagine things. It will empower you. Visualization for 2 or 3 minutes every hour will be more effective than worrying. I think this is a new beginning for you and your family. Just appreciate your daughter. Love her and be patient with her life. She probably worries about her life too. But there are good results with therapeutic horseback riding or art therapy and music therapy. Think big big big results. It's hard on a mother because you love her and want to help her and heal her. You can. You are. You will. You reached out and never expected me to give you this encouragement. I've been where you are. It can really pull you down. But then I heard a serious sermon on Praying God Size prayers by Joel osteen and it opened up my heart and mind. Listen to it it's easy to find. Stay in faith mother. You have so much to offer. This is where things start to get better. In Jesus name Amen.
