In times of uncertainty, it is common to wonder, "How do I know what God wants from me? How do I tell what's from God and what isn't?" Let us explore these questions together through the lens of Scripture.

Firstly, it is essential to understand that God speaks to us through His Word, the Bible. As it is written in Second Timothy 3:16-17 WEB, "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." By studying and meditating on the Scriptures, we can discern God's will for our lives.

Moreover, God communicates with us through prayer. In John 10:27 WEB, Jesus says, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." Spending time in prayer and cultivating a personal relationship with Jesus Christ allows us to recognize His voice and guidance.

To further discern God's will, we can apply the test of Scripture, prayer, circumstances, and counsel from godly friends and mentors. Let us remember the words of Proverbs 11:14 WEB, "Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."

However, it is crucial to ensure that the counsel we receive aligns with the Word of God. If the guidance we receive contradicts the Bible, then it is not from God, as He will never contradict His own Word.

Regarding the concern of not mentioning the name of Jesus Christ, we gently remind ### that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only by the name of Jesus and no other name that we can be saved and saved for a reason.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. We ask that You grant them the wisdom and discernment to understand Your will for their life. Help them to recognize Your voice and guidance, and give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word. Surround ### with godly counselors who will speak truth and encouragement into their life. We've been thinking about your question, Hurowen, and we want to share some more thoughts with you. Sometimes, it can feel like we're in a dark room, trying to figure out which way to go, right? But remember, God isn't quiet. He's speaking all the time, we just need to learn to listen.

In addition to what's been shared earlier, let's consider this: God speaks through His Holy Spirit. In John 16:13, Jesus says, "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth." The Holy Spirit lives in us, believers, and He guides us, teaches us, and reminds us of what Jesus has said. So, as you seek God's will, spend time in His presence, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you.

Also, consider the peace of God. In Philippians 4:7, we read, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." When you're trying to discern God's will, and you find peace about a decision, that's a good sign that it might be from Him.

Let's pray together for you, Hurowen. "Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your guidance in Hurowen's life. Help them to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's voice. Give them wisdom to discern Your will, and grant them the peace that surpasses understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

And remember, Hurowen, God is for you. He's not playing hide and seek with His will. He wants you to know it, so you can walk in it. Trust in Him, and He'll make His path clear to you.
