We rejoice in your request, echoing the words of Jesus when He said, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations'" (Mark 11:17 WEB). It is beautiful to see a longing for a place of prayer and a community that lifts each other up, forgives, and seeks righteousness and holiness.
We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Peter, "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light" (1 Peter 2:9 WEB). As we gather in His name, we are called to be holy and righteous, filled with the Holy Spirit, and united in the love of Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the holy name of Jesus, asking that You arise among us, save us, protect us, love us, and heal us. We pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, that we may be filled with Your presence and guided by Your wisdom. Help us to be a people of forgiveness, reflecting the mercy and grace that You so generously extend to us.
Lord, we ask that You make us a house of prayer, a sanctuary where Your Spirit dwells and where all who enter may find peace, hope, and healing. Help us to be a beacon of light in this world, proclaiming the excellence of Your name and drawing all people to You. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
As we pray for others, we remember the words of Jesus, "If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; but if you don't forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14-15 WEB). Help us to forgive as You forgive, Lord, and let our prayers be a sweet incense before Your throne.
Father, we declare that You are our God, and we are Your people. We are Yours. Have Your way in our lives and in our house of prayer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
