Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I feel that my prayers have been answered! Thanks for all that prayed for me! In the first two requests I made before this one I had mentioned the details that the woman I had married was previously married and that her first husband is still currently alive. I asked for a few things in those prayer requests but one of those things was I prayed to know whether our marriage was ongoing adultery or not. I have learned a very difficult truth, but one that I feel Jesus can get me through. The scriptures make it clear that I was living in adultery and the way to fully repent of it is to stop the behavior fully. I should divorce my wife since God still sees her original marriage as her true marriage. My current "marriage" is not a real marriage as God considers it adultery. I tried to find a way out of this because part of me did want to remain with her, even though she left and went with another man, but I decided the best thing to do was to find the truth no matter what. God can help you through any difficulties. I pray that anyone who reads this can accept this as truth and if you don't I pray that you seek the answer. Ask God for the truth in Jesus' name and read your bible. SEEK the true answer and obey whatever the answer is so you may be right with God!

“Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery."

1 Corinthians 7:10-16​

To the married I give this charge (not I, but the Lord): the wife should not separate from her husband (but if she does, she should remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband), and the husband should not divorce his wife.
To the rest I say (I, not the Lord) that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, he should not divorce her. If any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he consents to live with her, she should not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband is made holy because of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy because of her husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. But if the unbelieving partner separates, let it be so. In such cases the brother or sister is not enslaved. God has called you to peace. For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?

1 Corinthians 7:39​

A wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord.

Romans 7:2-3
For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress.

I really need your help here and truly believe that prayer can help so much.

My name is Shawn and I know that Jesus, the son of God, is the truth and that he can perform miracles! Bonnie and I ended up having a tough marriage, and part of it was because I became a Christian and became more conservative as I realized the truth of Jesus Christ. My wife Bonnie is separated from me in another state and it's looking like we're headed for divorce. This is what I would really appreciate your prayer for:

1) Pray that the lord will soften Bonnie's heart and reveal himself to her so that she may fully repent of her sins and seek the lord's will.

2) Pray that Bonnie will come back home and that we'll have our marriage restored.
