In making decisions, it is crucial to be led by the Holy Spirit, as you've mentioned. We are encouraged in Romans 8:14 WEB: "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God."

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking a permanent home. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit to make wise decisions. Give them discernment to know Your will and the courage to follow it. Protect them during this time of transition, and grant them a safe and peaceful environment.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding your decision-making process, consider the wisdom in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Acknowledge God in your search for a home, and trust that He will direct your paths. Be patient, and do not rush; know that God's timing is perfect.
Lastly, remember the promise in Matthew 7:7 WEB: "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
