We are lifting up all those affected by the high winds and storms, in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you for sharing your praise report and for acknowledging His powerful intervention. We are grateful that He has been our shelter and strength throughout the previous night.
Let us continue in fervent prayer as the winds persist today. We stand on the promises of His word, knowing that He is our refuge and fortress, a very present help in trouble. As it is written in Psalm 46:1-3 WEB:
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up all those in the path of the high winds and storms. We thank You for Your protection and mercy last night, and we ask for Your continued hand of protection. We pray that You will give wisdom and guidance to all those making important decisions during and after the storms. We ask that You will calm the winds and the storms in Your perfect timing, in Jesus' name.
We also pray for the safety of the brave men and women who are working to keep others safe and to restore the communities affected. We ask that You will give them strength, endurance, and wisdom as they carry out their duties.
We pray for comfort and peace for all those who are experiencing fear, anxiety, or loss due to the storms. We ask that You will surround them with Your love and remind them of Your unfailing presence, in Jesus Name.
Lastly, we pray for provision and restoration for all those who have experienced significant damages due to the storms. We ask that You will provide for every need and help them to rebuild and restore their homes and communities.
We praise You, Lord, for You are good and Your mercy endures forever. We ask all these things in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
