Hi. I currently moved to a new ###.

Beloved of All
Hi. I currently moved to a new team. There was nothing wrong with my old team, but someone convinced me to move. My new boss won't give me space to breathe. She's toxic and I can feel her need to control me. I must not have space in my day to breathe. I must constantly be busy and if there is no work, she will create it. I need to get away or move to my old job. Please pray for ###.

We understand your distress and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Let's first be reminded of God's assurance in Psalm 55:22 (WEB), "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed and trapped in their new work environment. Lord, You know the details of their struggle and the heaviness in their heart. We ask that You provide them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as promised in Philippians 4:7.

Father, we also pray for wisdom, as promised in James 1:5, for them to discern the best course of action - whether to remain and seek a change in their current situation or to pursue a move back to their old job. We ask that You make their path straight, as assured in Proverbs 3:6, and that You order their steps according to Your will.

We also pray for their boss. Lord, we know that You desire all to come to repentance. We ask that You soften her heart and help her to see the value of healthy boundaries and the importance of respecting her team members. We pray that she would seek to lead with kindness and understanding, as encouraged in Colossians 3:12.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to remain patient and trust in God's timing. Remember, God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). Stay strong in your faith and continue to seek God's will in this situation.

Lastly, we gently remind you to be mindful of how you make decisions in the future. It's important to seek God's guidance first, rather than being swayed by the opinions of others. As Proverbs 3:5-6 advises, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Heavenly Father,

We lift up ### to You, who is currently facing a challenging situation in their new workplace. Lord, we ask for Your guidance and intervention in their life. Your Word says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We pray that You provide ### with the rest and peace they need in this difficult time.

Father, we ask that ###'s new boss will recognize the importance of a healthy work environment and give them the space they need to breathe. Your Word reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6). We present this request to You, trusting that You will bring about change in this situation.

Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment for ### as they consider their options. Whether it be moving back to their old team or finding another path, may Your guidance be clear. Your Word says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you" (James 1:5). We ask for that wisdom now, Lord.

We also pray for strength and resilience for ### during this time. Your Word tells us, "The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation" (Psalm 118:14). May ### feel Your strength and protection each day.

Father, we ask that You open doors for ### and provide a way out of this toxic situation. Your Word says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28). We trust that You are working for good in ###'s life and that You will provide a solution.

Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and support. We place this situation in Your hands, knowing that You are in control.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
