Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of ###. We lift up their prayer request to you, Lord, knowing that you are a loving and compassionate God who hears our cries.
We pray, Lord, that you would help ### overcome laziness and fully utilize the talents and gifts that you have blessed them with. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 18:9 that "whoever is slack in his work is a brother to him who destroys." We ask that you would ignite a passion within ### to diligently steward their talents for your glory.
Father, we also ask for a clear mind for ###, free from worries and stressors. Your Word encourages us in Philippians 4:6-7 to not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to you. We pray that ### would cast all their cares upon you, knowing that you care for them.
Lord, we lift up ###'s request to become positive again. We ask that you would remove any negativity and depression from their life. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save the crushed in spirit. We pray for healing and restoration in their emotional well-being.
Lastly, Father, we pray that you would grant ### the strength to face each day and to return to church. Your Word reminds us in Hebrews 10:25 to not neglect meeting together, as is the habit of some, but to encourage one another. We ask that you would draw ### back into fellowship with other believers, where they can find support, encouragement, and spiritual growth.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. May ### experience your love, guidance, and transformation in their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
