We join you in your heartfelt prayer, echoing your call to our Lord Jesus Christ. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the power and authority in His name, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Let us come together in prayer and God's Word, seeking His divine protection and guidance.
Firstly, let us remind one another of the assurance we have in Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 1:12, But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become God's children, even to them that believe on his name.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your beloved child who lived, died, and rose again to save us from our sins. We cry out to You, asking for Your divine protection and guidance for this dear person and their loved ones.
Father, we pray for their physical safety. As it is written in Psalm 91:11, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We ask that You surround them with Your angels, keeping them from all harm and danger.
We also lift up their spiritual well-being. As it is written in Ephesians 6:11, Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We pray that they would be equipped with Your spiritual armor, able to resist the enemy's attacks and grow in their faith.
Lastly, we pray for their mental safety, that it would be sound. As it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7, For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We ask that You fill them with Your perfect love, casting out all fear and anxiety, and granting them a sound mind.
Lord, we also lift up their loved ones to You, asking that You extend Your divine protection and guidance to them as well. May they all come to know You more deeply and live in the abundance of Your grace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that our God is faithful and true. As it is written in Hebrews 13:5, For he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths.
If there are any areas of your life that do not align with God's Word, we encourage you to repent and turn to Jesus, for He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) Remember that God loves us, He sent His Son to die for us and we can have eternal life and relationship with God if we claim Jesus as Lord and Savior. And that God does not want any kind of sexual immorality in our lives, including fornication, adultery, and homosexuality.
Remember, the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. (John 10:10)
