Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of concern and hope for ###, who has been enduring a difficult journey with illness. Your Word tells us in James 5:15, "And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We stand on this promise, Lord, and lift ### up to You in faith.
Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon ###. Grant him strength to fight the pneumonia and UTI he is battling. We pray that his body would respond well to treatment, and that You would restore him to full health. We also ask that the cancer has not spread, and that You would guide the doctors and medical staff with wisdom and skill as they care for him.
Isaiah 41:10 reassures us, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Lord, we ask that You would strengthen ### and his family during this challenging time. Surround them with Your peace and comfort, and let them feel Your presence in every moment.
We also pray for ###, who is seeking more time with their father. Lord, grant ### the comfort and strength needed to support ### through this ordeal. May ### feel Your love and find solace in Your promises.
In Psalm 34:18, it is written, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." Lord, be near to this family. Provide for their needs, give them hope, and let them experience Your unfailing love.
We lift up this prayer in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
