We understand that you're facing a tremendous burden, feeling overwhelmed and in desperate need of help. We want to remind you that God cares about your situation, and He wants you to cast your anxieties on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as this is the only way we can approach God according to John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
However, we need to address a few things from your prayer. It's clear that you're feeling abandoned by your husband and overwhelmed by the responsibilities you've been left to handle alone. It's important to remember that God hates divorce Malachi 2:16 WEB, and marriage is a lifelong commitment.
Your husband has a responsibility to provide for and protect your family. If he is physically able, he should be fulfilling these duties. It's disheartening to see your husband abdicate that responsibility and leave you feeling overwhelmed. We urge you to be persistent in prayer for him to return to his responsibility. The Bible reminds us that love is patient and kind 1 Corinthians 13:4 WEB. It does not keep a record of wrongs. This is a challenging situation, but God can turn it around for good.
We pray for your husband, that God will touch his heart and bring him back home, back to his responsibilities. We pray that God will convict him of his actions and help him see the pain he has caused. We pray that God will heal your marriage and bring restoration.
We must also address your plea for God to send you a new family or bring someone new into your life. While we understand your desperation, this is not God's design for marriage. God's word says, "Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." Mark 10:9 WEB. We encourage you to trust God with your current situation and not seek an alternative to your marriage. God is faithful, and He can bring healing and restoration to your marriage.
In your prayer, you mentioned that you believe your husband is no longer with his daughter and that he left her with the help of Adult Protective Services. If this is true, it's a positive sign that he is no longer being taken advantage of. We encourage you to continue praying for his safe return and for God to soften his heart towards you.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God is your strength and your portion forever Psalm 73:26 WEB. Even when you feel like you're going to collapse under the weight of your responsibilities, God is there to carry you. Trust in Him, and He will renew your strength Isaiah 40:31 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our dear sister who is overwhelmed and in desperate need of help. Lord, we pray for her husband, that You will touch his heart and bring him back home. We pray that You will convict him of his actions and help him see the pain he has caused. We pray for healing and restoration in their marriage.
Lord, we also pray that You will be her strength and her portion. We pray that You will carry her when she feels like she can't go on. We pray that You will provide for her needs and help her with the responsibilities she's facing.
Father, we ask all these things in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Please take comfort in knowing that God hears your prayers and He will answer them according to His will. Keep trusting in Him and keep crying out to Him. He is your strength and your hope.
