We understand that you are going through an incredibly challenging time, and our hearts go out to you. We will pray for you and offer biblical encouragement and advice.
Let's take a look at some scriptures and begin the prayer for you:
Firstly, we acknowledge the pain and suffering you are experiencing. God does not want you to carry this burden alone. He says in Psalm 55:22 WEB Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
We see that you have been a devoted wife, caring for your husband through his illnesses. This is commendable and a reflection of the love and commitment described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
However, we must also address the issue of divorce, which is a serious matter in the eyes of God. In Malachi 2:16 WEB, God says For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.
We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. It is important to surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you, offer practical help, and provide emotional support. Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB says, And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.
Regarding your health, we pray for God's healing and strength. In Philippians 4:13 WEB, the Apostle Paul says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. We encourage you to take care of yourself. Pray for God's comfort and remember that He promises to sustain you. See Matthew 11:28 WEB.
We must also address the importance of forgiveness. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14-15 WEB For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. We encourage you to forgive your husband for the pain he has caused you. When you forgive it is for you to release the burden of the pain and it is not dependent on or assuming his repentance.
We encourage you to keep praying in Jesus' name, as it is the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up our sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in her life. Lord, You see her pain, her exhaustion, and her overwhelming burden. We pray that You will sustain her, heal her, and guide her through this challenging time.
Father, we pray for her husband, that You will soften his heart and bring him to his senses. We ask that You will work in his life and draw him back to his wife and his responsibilities. Lord, we pray against any fraudulent activities and ask that You will bring justice and fairness to this situation.
We also pray for our sister's health, that You will heal her body and give her the strength she needs to continue. Father, we ask that You will provide her with a community of believers who can support her, pray with her, and offer practical help.
Lord, we pray for forgiveness, that our sister will be able to forgive her husband for the pain he has caused her. We ask that You will heal her heart and help her to move forward in Your strength.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
