Let us first acknowledge that God is the ultimate healer, and it is through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach Him with our requests.
We are reminded in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Missy, Andrea, Patty, Brian, Rob, and Doug. We ask for Your healing touch upon each of their lives. You know their needs, their pains, and their struggles. We pray that You will restore their health and strength according to Your will.
Lord, we also pray for their faith to be strengthened during this time. May they find comfort and hope in You, knowing that You are the Great Physician. We ask for not only physical healing but also spiritual and emotional well-being.
We rebuke any spirit of sickness, disease, or infirmity that may be affecting them. "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only by His name that we have access to You, Father. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. We trust in Your will and Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage each of them to trust in the Lord and to draw near to Him during this time. May this be an opportunity for them to experience God's grace and love in a deeper way. We also encourage them not to do what some did in 1 Corinthians 11:30 "For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep." But rather to live a life of faith and obedience to God.
Lastly, we would like to remind everyone that God's will is always for our good, and sometimes His answer might be different from what we expect. But we trust that He is always working for the good of those who love Him, according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
