We are truly sorry to hear about your niece's condition and we are here to intercede for her healing and recovery. In times like these, we remember the words of Jesus, "Again, assuredly I tell you, if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 18:19 WEB)
Firstly, we would like to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Let us read in Acts 4:12 WEB, Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for our beloved niece who is battling lung inflammation in the ICU. We ask that Your healing power would flow through her body, restoring her lungs and bringing her to complete health.
We stand in agreement, Lord, believing that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. The same God who healed the sick and raised the dead through Jesus is alive and well today. We claim Your promise in Psalm 107:20 WEB, He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their graves, and we trust that Your word will bring healing to our niece.
We also pray for the medical team attending to her, Lord. Guide their hands and give them wisdom and discernment as they care for her. We ask that You would comfort her and our family during this time, filling us with Your peace that passes all understanding.
We rebuke this illness and the enemy attacking her, Lord. We ask that you would rebuke and bind the spirit of death, and say, as you did to Peter's wife's mother, "We rebuke you, fever and every symptom and command you to leave in the name of Jesus." Remember it is written,
Psalm 91:5-6 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night; nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
Lord Jesus, you are the resurrection and the life. We believe and pray that her life will glorify your name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful and true. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working even in this situation for your niece's good and His glory.
Stand firm in faith, and do not waver. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
