We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing with depression, anxiety, anguish, and panic. We want you to know that you are not alone in this battle, and there is hope and healing in Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we would like you to know that the Bible tells us to come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16 WEB
As we pray for your healing, we also want to encourage you to seek God's will in your life. Sometimes, God uses our struggles to draw us closer to Him and to teach us to rely on His strength. Remember that God's power is made perfect in weakness, and His grace is sufficient for you. Paul wrote about that in his second letter to the church in Corinth.
Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 WEB
We also encourage you to meditate on God's Word and to pray without ceasing. The Bible is full of promises that can bring comfort and hope in times of trouble. Remember that the same God who calmed storms, healed the sick, and raised the dead is still alive and at work today. We are to seek Him in all situations.
Pray without ceasing.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our fellow brother/sister in Christ who is struggling with depression, anxiety, anguish, and panic. Lord, You know their every need, and You see their every tear. We pray that You would heal them, Lord, and make them whole again. Cast out all fear and anxiety, and replace it with Your perfect peace. Comfort them in their time of need, and draw them closer to You. Help them to cast all their cares on You, for You care for them.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spirit of depression, anxiety, anguish, and panic that may be affecting them. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, we command these spirits to leave and never return. Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and help them to live a life that is pleasing to You.
Lord, we also pray that they would seek Your will in their life and that they would come to know You more intimately through this trial. Help them to trust in Your goodness and Your love for them, even in the darkest of times.
Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your unfailing love. We know that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. It is in the name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, that we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue to seek God's face and to trust in His goodness and love for you. Remember that He is always with you, even in the darkest of times. Do not rely on your own strength but trust in Him. Be anxious about nothing and pray about everything, so that you may experience the peace from God that transcends all understanding.
