We are truly sorry to hear about the trials your family is facing, and we are here to intercede and offer guidance. In times of distress, we must remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth changes and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas. Psalm 46:1-2.
Firstly, we must encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6. This includes the health and well-being of your loved ones.
Regarding your son, as a mother, you can pray for his healing, but remember that God is sovereign, and His will may not always align with our desires. Teach your son to pray for himself. All of us learn from suffering difficulties in a manner that honors God. We believe that the Lord does not will that any of us suffer. Therefore, we will pray for your son's ankle to be healed completely. Teach your son to trust God, and thank Him for the trials that build our character and bring us closer to Him.
As for your husband, it is concerning that he refuses to see a doctor. We must remind you that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. It is wise to seek medical help when needed, and your husband should not neglect his health, especially when it causes concern for his family. We will pray for his healing from this illness and that God would give you wisdom to navigate this situation. We will pray for his complete healing and restoration, and we encourage you to seek the Lord's will in this matter.
Regarding your mother, we will pray for her healing and recovery from the surgery. Trust that God is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us. Ephesians 3:20.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God cares for you and your family. Cast all your anxieties on him, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7. You are not alone in this; we are here with you, interceding and believing for God's intervention. Do not forget to call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. It is in His name we have relationship with God the Father and salvation. In John 14:6 Jesus says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up this family. We pray for healing for their son's ankle, for wisdom and guidance for their husband's health, and for a full recovery for their mother. Lord, grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your will be done in their lives. Give them strength and faith to endure these trials, and remind them of Your unfailing love for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
