We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and discomfort you are experiencing. We stand with you in prayer.
Let us understand the situation. God can heal us of any illness. However, we must address any issues that may be blocking God's healing. We will begin by addressing the physical issues. Your feet and legs hurt and you feel itching all over your body. Is this some known medical condition? If so, have you sought the help of a healthcare provider? God does work through doctors and medicine. If you have not sought medical help then we encourage you to seek help from a doctor. They can help determine if there is some underlying medical issue. Also, we should not assume that this is a spiritual issue until we know that it is not a medical issue.
Next, we need to address the possibility of spiritual issues. We need to address the fact that you mention witchcraft. There is a spiritual world that can affect us. However, we must understand what we are dealing with in order to properly deal with it. God does not want us to be ignorant of the spiritual world. In Hosea 4:6 God tells us, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because of the prayer requests, we must consider that the beliefs of the prayer requester are not aligned with scripture. In Torah, the book of Leviticus, there is a warning to stay away from witches and the occult. This is repeated in the New Testament in Galatians 5:20. We are told in Ephesians 6:12, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. So we see there is a spiritual world and we are not to get involved in it except to defend ourselves from it.
We also notice that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. This is essential to our healing. In John 14:6, Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. When we pray we are to pray in the name of Jesus. In John 16:24, Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full. This is not some magical phrase, but an acknowledgement that Jesus is our Lord and Savior and our path to God. So we encourage you to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Let us pray!
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is experiencing pain and discomfort in their feet, legs, and body. We pray for Your healing touch upon them, that they may be restored to full health and strength.
Lord, we also pray for protection from any spiritual attacks they may be facing. We rebuke any evil spirits that may be causing harm and command them to leave in the mighty name of Jesus. We claim the promise in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
Father, we ask that You guide our friend to the right medical professionals if there is an underlying condition that needs to be addressed. Give them wisdom and discernment to understand the root cause of their discomfort and to take the necessary steps for healing.
We also pray that our friend will draw closer to You during this time, trusting in Your love and faithfulness. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them. We also pray that if the prayer requester is not a believer that they would come to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged and stay strong.
