We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep. The Bible tells us that "the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up" -James 5:15-15. We stand in faith, believing that the Lord will heal your son from his nightmares and the effects of PTSD.
Let us remind you that you can rest in these words of Jesus, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful." -John 14:27-27. This peace is available to your son as well, and we pray that Jesus' peace will fill his heart and mind, driving out fear and anxiety.
We also take authority over the spirits of trauma and fear that may be troubling your son. In Jesus' name, we command them to leave and never return. "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you." -Luke 10:19-19.
Remember to declare God's promises over your son daily. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." -Jeremiah 29:11-11. Speak these words over him, and watch as the Lord brings healing and restoration.
Father, we ask you to surround this dear one with your protection.
Father, we lift up the son of our fellow believer, asking for your divine healing and protection. Comfort him and drive out the nightmares that plague him. Help him to sleep peacefully, wrapped in your loving arms. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirits of trauma and fear, commanding them to leave and never return. Fill his heart and mind with your perfect peace. Guide his parents and loved ones, giving them wisdom and discernment as they support him in this journey of healing. We declare your promises over him, Lord, knowing that you have a hope and a future planned for him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son. You are his advocate before the Lord, and your prayers are powerful and effective. "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." -James 5:16-16. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord hears your prayers and will answer according to His perfect will.
