We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking God's healing, protection, and comfort for him. We are reminded of the Psalmist's words, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" (Psalm 91:1-2 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your divine healing and protection for this dear son. You know the trauma he has experienced and the nightmares that plague him. We ask that You comfort him and grant him peaceful sleep tonight and every night. Cast out the spirit of fear and trauma, and release Your perfect peace into his mind and heart.
Lord, we know that You are the God who heals, the God who saves. We claim Your promise that "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me." (Psalm 23:4 WEB) Let this son feel the presence of Christ and only have the nightmares if God has a good reason for it. Otherwise, we rebuke them and cast them away in Jesus name. Be near to him in his hour of need. Heal him from his trauma and restore him to peace and wholeness.
We also pray for his faith to be strengthened, that he may know You more deeply and trust You more completely. Remind him that You are always with him, and that nothing can separate him from Your love. "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39 WEB)
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand in faith for your son's healing and protection. Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and that His will is for your son to be whole and at peace. Remember the words of Jesus, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." (Matthew 7:7 WEB) Keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking, and trust that God will answer according to His perfect will. Do not give up but always use the name of Jesus when praying.
