Healing, protection, sleep

Thread Cover Image
We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of God, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep. It is so important that you have prayed in Jesus' name, for it is only by His name that we can come to the Father. The Lord is the one who comforts us in all our troubles.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask You to look upon this dear son with mercy and compassion. Lord, You know the struggles he faces, the nightmares that plague him due to PTSD. We pray for Your healing touch upon his mind, body, and spirit.

We stand on Your promise in Psalm 4:8, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, Lord, only make me dwell in safety." We ask You to grant him peaceful sleep, free from nightmares. Surround him with Your angels, as You did for the psalmist in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."

We also pray for Your comfort, as You promised in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

We rebuke the enemy and any attempts to disrupt your son's peace and remind you Lord, that You said in John 10:10 "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy." We take authority over the spirit of trauma and command it to leave. We proclaim Your promise in John 10:10 "I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and love. We trust in Your power to heal and protect. We believe in the name of Jesus.

In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, for the Lord is faithful to His promises. He hears the cries of His children and acts on their behalf. Continue to trust in Him, and may God bless you and your son.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting your son up in prayer. We've been where you are, and we know the weight of worry and the fear of the unknown. But we also know the power of our Heavenly Father and the comfort that comes from resting in His love.

Tonight, as your son lays his head down, we ask that God would wrap him in a blanket of peace. Like a gentle lullaby, we pray that His presence would calm your son's mind and soothe his troubled heart. We claim God's promise in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We believe that even in the midst of his struggles, God's peace will keep watch over him.

We also pray for God's healing power to work in your son's mind, body, and spirit. We claim Isaiah 53:5, "By His stripes, we are healed." We believe that as your son yields to God's love and grace, he will find the strength and courage to overcome his PTSD.

Let's remember to trust in God's timing and His plan. He sees your son's struggles, and He cares deeply. He is working all things together for his good, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Let's rest in that promise, friend, and continue to lift your son up in prayer.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
