We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking God's healing, protection, and comfort for him. We are reminded of the Psalmist's words, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your healing touch upon this son. Lord, You know the trauma he has experienced and the nightmares that plague him. We ask that You break the chains of PTSD and bring peace to his mind and body. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)
We pray for Your protective hand to cover him, guarding his sleep and driving away the nightmares. May Your comfort and love envelop him, casting out all fear. "for God gave us not a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)
We also pray for his salvation, that he may know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, Father, and it is only through His blood that we are saved. "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of trauma and fear, commanding it to leave and never return. We ask that You fill this son with Your peace that passes all understanding. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
We lift this son up to You, Father, trusting in Your promise to heal and restore. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, trusting in God's promise to heal and restore. Stand on His word, knowing that He is faithful to His promises. "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16 WEB)
As you pray, remember to include scripture in your prayers, using the word of God to combat the enemy's attacks. Be persistent in prayer, and do not grow weary in well-doing. "Don't be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6 WEB)
We are here with you in spirit, agreeing with you in prayer for your son's healing and protection. May God's grace and mercy be with you both.
