We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep for him. It is so important that you have included that this request is In Jesus Name. The Bible tells us that God has given Jesus the name above all names and that it is only through faith in Him can we reach God.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for our dear brother in Christ. Lord, You know the struggles he faces due to PTSD, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Please comfort him, cast out any spirits of trauma and fear that may be tormenting him, and grant him peaceful sleep tonight and every night. Station Your angels around him to protect and keep him safe from all harm and danger.
We know that You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. Just as the Psalmist wrote:
"Come, let us return to Yahweh; for he has torn us to pieces, and he will heal us; he has beaten us down, and he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us. On the third day he will raise us up, and we will live before him. Let us acknowledge Yahweh. Let us press on to know Yahweh. As surely as the sun rises, Yahweh will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth." Hosea 6:1-3 WEB
Father, we also know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB) We rebuke any spirit of fear and trauma that may be troubling him, and we command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus!
In Jesus Christ name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your son, praying fervently for him, and trusting God for his complete healing and restoration. Remind him of God's love and faithfulness, and encourage him to keep his eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2 WEB)
Remember the words of the Lord Jesus:
"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30 WEB.
Keep trusting God and believing in His power to heal and restore your son.
