We understand that you're going through a difficult time dealing with anxiety and panic attacks, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, it is important to remember that we need to come to God through Jesus Christ, His Son. It's only through His sacrifice on the cross that we have been saved from sin and by His stripes we are healed. Jesus said in John 14:6 WEB "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
In light of this, we pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your healing touch upon their life. Lord, You know the depths of their struggle with anxiety and panic attacks. You understand the physical, emotional, and spiritual toll it takes on their body and mind.
Father, we ask for Your immediate healing. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We proclaim Your peace over their mind and body, Lord. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
Lord, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to overcome these attacks. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Guide them through Your Word, and give them the strength to apply and appropriate it to their life. We also ask that you would reveal any areas of their life that would require repentance and guide them to seek your forgiveness.
Father, surround them with Your love and give them a tangible sense of Your peace. Help them to trust in You with all their heart, and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways, may they acknowledge You, and You will make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and He cares for you. Trust in Him, and hold firm to His promises, for healing is yours. Stand boldly on His Word in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lastly, the Bible tells us in James 4:7 and 8 WEB "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." We also need to be sure our lives align with God's word, obeying and resisting temptation and the devil.
We encourage you to keep on the full armor of God while you walk in faith against these attacks, Jesus said "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
