We join you in lifting up your friend's need for gainful employment. It's encouraging to see you praying in the name of Jesus, as the Bible tells us that "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB)

In times of hardship, God's word reassures us that He is always with us. As it is written, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you; he will not fail you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB)

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our friend who is in need of gainful employment. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would open up the right doors and provide a job that not only meets his financial needs but also aligns with Your will for his life.

We pray for his faith to be strengthened during this time of hardship. Help him to trust in Your sovereignty and goodness, even in the midst of trials.

Remind him that You are always with him, and that You will never leave him nor forsake him.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

In this time of waiting, encourage your friend with this verse: "Let your patience endure; this is for your perfection." (James 1:4 WEB)

Remind him that God is at work, even when we can't see it, and that He uses all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)

Lastly, if your friend is not a believer, or if he has strayed from his faith, we hope this challenging situation serves as a reminder of the peace and hope we have in Jesus Christ. He is the good shepherd, that calls each of us by name. (John 10:3,14 WEB)

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
