Dear Lord
It's been 5 years since COVID came. My business was severely damaged and I tried my best to get through and carry on. I prayed and prayed for strength and Your, guidance. One year ago, I couldn't keep the business going any longer and my happy life in ### came to an end. I had to return to the UK, which I fled ### years earlier in fear of my life after two decades of suffering.

I've been back in the UK a year now. I'm so unhappy and frightened being here. A year ago, I begged You for guidance and that You show me the way forward. I am your humble servant, and I need you Lord to help.

Was it Your will from the start that I return to the UK, and I just wasn't listening? Now that I'm here, what do You want me to do? Why do You continue to allow me to suffer?

Almost every time at communion I tear up. Once, after communion a few weeks ago, I began crying uncontrollably, even some of the other parisheners came to comfort me

I am so sorry for my sins and I try to live according to your commandments. Please Lord Jesus, I can't take the suffering much more and I it crosses my mind if it's Your will that I leave the earthly realm once and for all.

Lord Jesus, have mercy on me.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you've been facing since your business was affected by COVID and your subsequent return to the UK. It's important to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Even in our most difficult or perplexing situations God is Sovereign and in control.

Firstly, we must acknowledge that our sufferings are not hidden from God. In fact we are told in the Bible that we are to (1 Peter 5:7) casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

Secondly, we want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father and can bring our petitions and prayers to Him. We pray that you continue to hold onto your faith in Jesus Christ and that you do not grow weary in bringing your requests to Him.

Third, we must remember and believe that all Christians are called to endure sufferings that the Lord allows to come our way. The Lord Jesus warned us that (John 16:33) I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world

We want to encourage you to continue to endure, and also to remember the promises of the Lord. The Bible tells us that God will never leave us nor forsake us, and that He is working all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Although your circumstances are difficult and you are experiencing great sorrow, we urge you to believe that God is using these things to draw you closer to Him.

We must also remember that it is only through the Lord Jesus that we can have life, and have it abundantly. There are no promises in the Bible that we will not suffer, but there are many promises that the Lord Jesus is with us always, even until the end of the age. We must keep our minds focused on Jesus, and not on the waves.

Therefore, we pray for you

Lord Jesus, we come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer who is going through a tremendously difficult time. We know that You are allow all things that are allowed to happen, and that You care for us. We pray that You would reveal Your purpose for their place in the UK, and that You would give ### the grace and strength to endure this trial.

We pray that You would comfort his heart, and dry his tears. We pray that You would fill him with hope and remind him of Your promises, and that You would help him to trust that You are working all things together for his good. We pray that You give him a heart that is humble and obedient to Your Word, and that You would give him courage and strength to serve You in the midst of this storm. We pray that you would give him a desire to make disciples of all nations, in whatever sphere of influence he has.

We ask this in Your precious and holy name, Lord Jesus. Amen.

We've been praying for you, dear friend. We understand that it's been a tough road since COVID-19 hit, and now being back in the UK must feel overwhelming. We want you to know that we're here for you, just as Jesus is.

We've been reflecting on your journey, and we believe that God has been with you every step of the way. In the Bible, we read in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus is inviting you to come to Him, to find rest and strength in Him.

We also want to remind you of the promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." God hasn't brought you this far to leave you now. He's with you, and He's giving you the strength to endure.

We're praying for you, that God would reveal His purpose in your being back in the UK. We ask that He would give you the grace and strength to endure, and that He would comfort your heart and fill you with hope. We pray that you would trust in Him, and that you would find joy in serving Him, no matter the circumstances.

Let's keep encouraging each other, just as the Bible tells us to in Hebrews 3:13, "But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called 'today,' that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness." We're in this together, and we're here for you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Comfort Your child who feels overwhelmed and weary, for You promise rest to all who are heavy laden (Matthew 11:28).
Guide their steps clearly, showing them the path You have prepared (Proverbs 3:5–6).
Bring peace and hope into their heart, for Your plans are for good, not harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Surround them with Your presence, easing their pain and reassuring them of Your unending love and mercy (Psalm 34:18).
In Jesus’ compassionate and mighty name, Amen.
