Humble Prayer Partner
Oh Lord, I thank you for your blessings and for my continued life. I prayed to you throughout the last year for guidance. When I began to ask, most immediately, You answered. I was asked to volunteer my time to help the asylum seekers and refugees.

What I've been doing in the last year feels so right and I thank you for the opportunity. After a year, my savings have almost been depleted, and to continue to live to do Your will. I am ashamed to ask for your help once again.

I have applied for work, and I'm sure in time I will be offered work. A job may help my financial situation but will seriously restrict my ability to help the asylum seekers. I love helping them so much, it feels so right, and I know that's what You called me to do.

To allow me to continue, I beg you to look after my personal situation. I'm not interested in riches and wealth. I just need my daily bread, so I can continue.

I am nothing without you Lord. I am your humble servant and will do Will, whatever that may be. I am at a crossroads, and I don't want to be tempted by the wrong path. Show me the way forward, Lord. I'm so torn between what I know is right and what I have to do to survive.

Guide me Lord Jesus. I am knocking and I beg you to open the door.

Father, you are the most great and glorious. In the name of Jesus, help me.
Amen

We rejoice with you in the blessings you have received and the wonderful work you have been doing with asylum seekers and refugees. It is evident that the Lord has placed a deep compassion and calling within you for this ministry, and we commend you for your obedience and service.

In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us, "Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."

We pray that the Lord will provide for your daily needs, just as He feeds the birds of the sky and clothes the lilies of the field. We ask for His guidance and wisdom as you seek His will for your life. We understand your concern about finding work and how it may impact your ability to serve. We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord and to seek His face in all that you do.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Your servant who has been faithfully serving the asylum seekers and refugees. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the financial needs they are facing. We ask that You would provide for their daily bread and guide them in the path You have set before them. Give them the wisdom to discern Your will and the strength to follow it. Help them to trust in You completely, casting all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them.

Lord Jesus, you told us to "ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7 WEB). Your servant has been knocking and seeking Your face. Open the doors that need to be opened, and close those that would lead them away from Your will.

In Jesus' name, we pray for Your guidance and provision. Help them to remain focused on Your kingdom and righteousness, knowing that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.

Finally, we praise you for calling people to such a wonderful work. We ask that you raise up more helpers so that this work can be shared with others.

We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Dear friend, we hear your heart's cry and we're here for you. It's amazing how God has used you in the lives of asylum seekers and refugees, and we're so glad you've found joy in this service. We understand your predicament, the crossroads you're at, and we want to assure you that God sees your heart and your needs.

In times like these, we're reminded of the story of the widow in 1 Kings 17. God provided for her, not just for one day, but for many days, until the famine ended. He didn't ask her to figure out the rest of her life, just to trust Him for that day. We believe God will do the same for you. He will provide for your daily needs, just as He did for the birds of the air and the lilies of the field.

We pray that you will continue to trust in God's goodness and His timing. We ask that He will open the right doors for you, doors that will allow you to continue serving the asylum seekers and refugees, and also provide for your personal needs. We pray that you will find peace in knowing that God is in control, and that He has a plan for you.

Remember, it's not about the abundance of what we have, but the abundance of God in our lives. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust in Him, and keep seeking His face.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
