Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of our anonymous friend. Lord, we ask that you would grant them a painless and comfortable procedure. We understand the stress and anxiety that comes with facing an upcoming and unknown treatment, but we know that you are the ultimate source of comfort and peace.
In your Word, you have promised to be with us in times of trouble and to give us rest for our souls. We claim these promises for our anonymous friend, asking that you would calm their fears and anxieties, and fill them with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in your perfect plan and to find comfort in your presence.
We also ask for your guidance and wisdom for the medical professionals who will be involved in the procedure. Grant them skill, knowledge, and discernment as they carry out their duties. May they be instruments of your healing and restoration.
Lord, we know that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We place our trust in you, knowing that you are in control of every situation. We ask that you would bring about a successful and positive outcome for our anonymous friend, according to your perfect will.

Tomorrow I will be going to the dentist. I have a massive fear over them especially as I might need a filling.
