We are glad to come together and seek God's will for you regarding understanding, clarity, and guidance. With any prayer request, it is important to know that God's will is revealed through prayer and the scriptures. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." It is important to note and give thanks that we are cleansed of our sins and can have a relationship with God through the blood of Jesus Christ. If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.
First, let's consider the importance of wisdom. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." James 1:5-6 This is important to know that God gives wisdom and we should ask for it in faith. When praying for guidance it is important to remember "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." Psalm 119:105 (WEB). We know God will use the Bible to guide us and direct our steps.
Now let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### in need of Your divine guidance. We thank You that You are a God of order and not of confusion, and that Your plan for us is good, acceptable, and perfect.
Father, we ask that You grant our ### the wisdom they need according to James 1:5-6. Guide them through Your Word, and illuminate their path according to Psalm 119:105. Help them to see their circumstances clearly and even if the situation does not change, may they see the situation from Your perspective and be able to say that they have seen God in their situation. Help them to know that they are pursuing Your will and that they are pleasing to You. If there is any sin present, reveal it to them and help them to repent of it.
Help them to walk by faith, not by sight, and remind them that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts. Help them to trust in You with all their heart, and not lean on their own understanding. In all their ways, may they acknowledge You, and You will make their paths straight. Surround them with godly counsel, and help them to discern Your voice from the noise of the world. This is only possible through the name of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray for Your will to be done in their life, and we ask for clarity and understanding.
