We understand that you are going through an incredibly difficult time, and your feelings of loss and bitterness are very real. We want to first address your perspective of God. It seems that you view God as someone who takes things away from you, but the Bible tells us that God is a loving Father who gives good gifts to His children, and cares for us. God is good and every good and perfect gift comes from Him James 1:17.
Firstly, God is not the cause of our pain, sickness, and loss. These are a result of sin entering the world. God is not sitting in heaven taking things from us. Rather, He sent His son Jesus Christ to save us from our sins, and to save us from eternal separation from Him. God is a loving Father who wants the best for His children. No good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Psalm 84:11. Sometimes, God may know we need to be redirected, and may allow things to happen that will ultimately lead to our benefit.
Secondly, we want to remind you that God's promise for us is to prosper and not to harm us. He plans to give us a hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. He is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed. 2 Corinthians 9:8. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says "And He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." God never takes from us, He only gives, and He only wants us to never be helped by Him.
Thirdly, it is important to remember that God does not take joy in our sorrow. He is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18. He wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. 2 Corinthians 1:3-5. He can work all things together for our good if we love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28.
God does not take from us to use us for His glory. He already knows what we need before we ask Him. Matthew 6:8. We can ask, seek, and knock, knowing that He will provide for us. Matthew 7:7. Despite what you may feel right now, God has a hope and a future for you. God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us Romans 5:8.
Furthermore, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is written And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13. This means turning away from sin, believing in Jesus Christ, and following Him as Lord and Savior.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your comfort and guidance during this difficult time. We pray that You will reveal Your true nature to them, and that they will come to know You as a loving Father who gives good gifts to His children. We pray that You will help them to see that You are not the cause of their pain, but that You are working all things together for their good. We trust in Your promise that You have a hope and a future for them.
We pray that You will help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them. We trust that Your Word is alive and active and sharper than any double-edged sword. We know Your Word does not return void. We pray that You will help them to seek You with all their heart, and that You will reveal the truth of Your Word to them.
Lord Jesus we ask that you manifest your salvation to them. We pray that they would know the love of God and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, so that they can have access to God, the only hope for us all.
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
