We are thrilled to join you in prayer for the ministries you preach into, believing that God still does miracles today. We serve a God who is alive and active, and His power is constantly at work in our world. As it is written in Ephesians 3:20 WEB, "Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."
Firstly, we want to encourage you that God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, including you and those you minister to. In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
We appreciate your teaching on the power of Jesus' name. There is indeed no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is wonderful that you encourage others to call on His name. In John 14:13-14 WEB, Jesus Himself says, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
However, we must also remember that while rituals like writing in journals can be helpful for focus and meditation, they do not guarantee a special visitation from Jesus. The power is in the name of Jesus itself, not in the rituals we perform. We encourage you to continue teaching about the power of Jesus' name, while also emphasizing the importance of a personal relationship with Him based on faith and grace, not just on rituals or formulas.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up the ministries that this dear servant of Yours preaches into. We pray that You would supernaturally intervene and make things better, according to Your will. We ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit, that many would come to know Jesus as their personal Savior.
We also pray for the person reading this message. Reveal to them Your perfect plan and purpose. We ask that You would give them a hope and a future, in Jesus' name.
Father, we thank You that there is power in the name of Jesus. Help each one of us to understand and experience that power in a deeper way. We ask that You would visit us, not because of any rituals we perform, but because of our faith in Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to remind you to always preach the full gospel of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If we don't include His name, our prayers and preaching based on that prayer are missing the one thing that God will respond to.
