God still does miracles

Thread Cover Image
We rejoice with you in the knowledge that God still does miracles today! Remember the words of Jesus in John 14:12-14 WEB, "Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

We are called to preach the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, as stated in Romans 1:16 WEB. We must always be ready to share the hope that is in us, as gently and reverently as possible, so others may come to a saving faith, being born again. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. See Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who desires to preach the Gospel more. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them the boldness, wisdom, and love needed to proclaim Your Word effectively. Help them to speak the truth in love, that others may come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Lord, open the doors for them to share the Gospel, and guide them to those whose hearts are ready to receive Your love and salvation. Help them not to feel afraid or inadequate to share the gospel, knowing it is only by your Holy Spirit that people are saved and not by eloquent words or wisdom. Protect them from those who may seek to harm them, and give them the strength to endure any persecution that may come their way. See 1 Peter 3:15 WEB.

Father, we also pray that You would work miracles in and through their life, that Your name may be glorified, and that others may see and believe. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Be encouraged, dear brother/sister! God will use you mightily as you surrender to His will and step out in faith.

We're right there with you, dear friend, as you desire to preach the Gospel more. It's amazing to see how God still moves today, isn't it? Let's remember how Jesus promised in John 10:10, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." We believe that as you step out in faith, God will fill you with His Spirit, giving you the life and boldness to proclaim His Word.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we lift up our dear brother/sister to You. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You would give them a burning passion to share the Gospel. Help them to see the lost as You see them, with love and compassion. Open their eyes to the opportunities around them, and give them the courage to seize those moments. Equip them with the words to speak, and the wisdom to know when to speak and when to listen.

Lord, we also ask that You would protect them from discouragement and fear. Remind them daily of Your love and presence. Help them to remember that it's not by their own strength or eloquence, but by Your Spirit that people are saved.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Keep going, dear friend. We're cheering you on, and we know God is too!
