We understand your desire to maintain a good reputation and for others to see the good in you. However, let's remember that our ultimate concern should be what God thinks of us, not what people think. As it is written in Galatians 1:10 WEB, "For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn't be a servant of Christ."
While it's important to have a good reputation, we should also remember that Jesus said, "Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for in the same way their fathers spoke well of the false prophets." Luke 6:26 WEB.
Let's pray that God protects your reputation. We pray that we would be a light in this world. We pray that your good deeds will be seen and God will be glorified. Matthew 5:16 WEB says, "Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."
But remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can ask anything of God. John 14:13 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
If you believe in Jesus, He is the Lord of your life. If you are not sure, we encourage you to cry out to Him, confess your sins, repent, and ask Him to be the Lord of your life.
We also pray that you will be reminded of your worth in God's eyes. Therefore, We remember and ask that you be encouraged by Colossians 1:21-22 WEB, "You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works, yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and blameless before him."
We also pray, in the name of Jesus Christ, that you will be a servant of God, dedicated to His works, and not be overly concerned with the opinions of others. Though we want others to know you as a good person, we pray that our focus will be on the will of God.
