We are here with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer. We understand that you are feeling sad and desperate for happiness. First, we want to remind you that true joy comes from knowing Jesus Christ and having a right relationship with God. It is only through faith in Jesus that we find ultimate happiness and peace. As it is written in John 15:11 WEB, "I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up this dear soul who is feeling so sad and in need of your touch. We pray that you will reveal yourself to them, God, and that they will come to know the ultimate happiness and peace that comes from knowing Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We pray that your joy, a fruit of the Holy Spirit, will fill their heart and life.
We do not know the source of their sadness, but you do, Lord. We pray for your comfort, your guidance, and your healing. We pray that you will give them the strength to endure and overcome whatever is causing them such pain. We know that "the joy of Yahweh is your strength" (Nehemiah 8:10 WEB). In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek God with all your heart. He says in Jeremiah 29:13 WEB, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." He is the God who sees you, knows you, and loves you more than you can imagine. He is the source of true happiness.
We also want to encourage you to reach out to a local Bible-believing church or Christian community for support and fellowship. God has created us to be in community with one another, and often, he works through our brothers and sisters in Christ to bring healing and hope.
We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is only through faith in Jesus that we can be saved and have eternal life.
If you have not already, consider studying about who Jesus is and what he has done for you. Read the Bible. Believe in him and his message. Confess your sins and repent. Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. Then you will know true happiness and peace.
We trust that God will help you, give you happiness, and remove your sadness. We will continue to pray for you. May you be comforted by God's love.
