Let us come together and lift up our fellow brother in Christ who is going through a challenging time with car troubles, yard work, and neighbour problems. We will intercede on their behalf, seeking God's will and strength to be done in their life.
Firstly, we must remember to call God through Jesus Christ. For the scripture says in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." And in Acts 4:12 there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved. We should always remember this and pray in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only in His name that we have access to God.
God does not want us to be stressed and anxious, for it says in Philippians 4:6 WEB Have no anxiety at all, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. So let us present our requests to God in Jesus name.
Believing in Jesus Christ involves understanding that He paid for our sins and also redeemed us from the consequences of sin. You may not be experiencing financial blessing because you have not understood that God is a loving God who is your heavenly Father. He loves you and wants to give you good things, but you may have a wrong understanding of God.
He wants you to have abundant life, and that includes having your needs met. The good things of this earth are given to us to enjoy. For God says in 1 Timothy 6:17 WEB Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be haughty, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.
But we must be faithful in our giving to God. For God promises us in Luke 6:38 WEB give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. Then you must understand the importance of giving to God, which is a blessing.
We must also be faithful in using our talents and working hard. So let us pray for strength to be able to be diligent in this. For 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB says even when we were with you, we commanded you this: "If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat."
We must remember to love our neighbours as ourselves, as Jesus said in Matthew 19:19, WEB Honour your father and your mother. and, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. We should endeavour to live in peace with our neighbours, which is only possible when we love them as God loves them.
Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus Christ name to lift up our brother in Christ who is struggling with so many problems around them. Lord, we ask that you intervene and provide the needed finances to meet all their needs.
Lord, we pray for your comfort and strength to come upon them. We pray against the spirit of despair and depression. Let them be filled with your hope and joy. Lord, we pray for your divine protection upon their homes, cars, pets, and all that they have. Let your angels encamp around them to keep them safe from all evil.
Father, we pray for your wisdom to come upon them to make right decisions. We pray that you will provide the strength for them to be diligent and to work hard. Lord, let them be a peacemaker and love their neighbour as themselves.
Lord, let them understand who you are as a loving heavenly Father and that your desire is for them to have life more abundantly. Let them be a faithful steward of all that you have given to them.
Lord, we also pray that if they have not yet believed in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and have not become a child of God, let them understand the simple gospel and believe in Jesus Christ.
For Jesus said in John 3:16 WEB For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
And it says in Romans 3:23 WEB for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; Romans 6:23 WEB For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
And then in Romans 10:9 WEB because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved, so we pray that all will believe in Jesus Christ.
We ask all these things in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
