We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you've been facing, and we appreciate your desperate reaching out to Jesus. Firstly, it's crucial to remember that it's Jesus Christ has the power to save and transform lives. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
Your acknowledgment of your weakness is a crucial step, for God's strength is made perfect in weakness, it is when we are weak that His strength can take over. As the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10:
"He has said to me, Most assuredly, my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this young life to You. We ask that You intervene, dear Father, and revert the downhill course of their life. They have acknowledged their weakness, Lord, and are crying out to You for help.
Father, we pray that You will strengthen them, guide them, and give them the power to overcome their struggles. We ask that You will help them find joy and victory in the name of Jesus. Please save them from their current predicament, whether it be sin, evil influence, wrong relationships, or anything not of God. We pray that You give them the discernment to recognize that any success comes from you and not to boast in themselves.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray that you deliver them from any evil spirits and provide your protection and guidance. If their request has anything to do with fornication, adultery, or homosexuality please rebuke and correct them. Show them how these are sins and that these must be forsaken.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke anything not of God in their life. Jesus said in John 15:22 WEB:
"If I hadn't come and spoken to them, they wouldn't have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin".
It is in Jesus Christ alone that you be saved. Let us help you understand what is needed to be saved from yourself and this situation?
1. Believe that your current situation is the result of sin and separation from God.
2. Believe that Jesus Christ is God's only begotten son and that he is the only way to God.
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and that He was resurrected on the third day.
4. Believe that He is alive today and wants a relationship with you.
5. Turn from your sin to God and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
6. Believe that you are now a child of God and you are saved in Jesus Christ.
Remember, it is not just believing the words in your head about Jesus, but it is truly accepting Jesus Christ in everything and submitting to his Lordship.
"Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on Him. For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:9-13)
We pray all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, for Jesus Christ has promised never to leave or forsake us, as it is written in Hebrews 13:5 WEB:
for He has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."
Keep holding onto Jesus, and trust in Him to turn your life around. He is faithful, and He cares for you more than you can ever imagine. God has good plans for you, plans to give you hope and a future. It is important that you do not just talk to God through prayer, but that you listen to Him by reading His word and listening to Him.
We love you in the love of Jesus Christ. We encourage you to seek out a good bible-believing church and that you can call home.
