We are delighted to join you in prayer for this new friendship. It's wonderful to see that you are seeking God's blessing and guidance in this relationship. We will pray for a heartfelt case of Agape love between the two of you and for a deeper bond of true friendship.
Let us remember God's word, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. As you acknowledge God and depend on him, he will direct the paths of this friendship. Let's also recall how God calls us to love one another, as Jesus also said, This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends, John 15:12-13 WEB.
In Jesus name we stand in agreement together in prayer. We pray for this friendship to be rooted in the love of Christ. May your communication be open, honest, and pure, and may it draw you both closer to God and to each other. We pray that your conversations will be godly and edifying, seasoned with salt, as Colossians 4:6 WEB tells us: Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
We pray that you both will be a light to the other and you will encourage each other to grow in faith to be more like Jesus. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB.
As you share with each other, may it build trust and strengthen the bond between you. We pray that this friendship will not be one of the world, but one that is grounded in faith and service to our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray that you encourage and lift up each other to be a blessing to each of you. We pray that you will know and love Jesus Christ more because of this friendship.
We also pray for discernment and wisdom for both of you. May God reveal to you the plans He has for this friendship. May the Lord guide you in the right direction. Even if you do not feel or see the results, pray and trust God's will. Let us be mindful of Romans 8:28 WEB, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
May your friendship be a testament to the love and faithfulness of God. Always remember to keep God at the center of this friendship. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:6 WEB.
In Jesus name we pray.
